Emerson once said:

“Enthusiasm is one of the most powerful engines of success. When you do a thing, do it with all your might. Put your whole soul into it. Stamp it with your own personality. Be active, be energetic, be enthusiastic and faithful, and you will accomplish your object. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.”

Word.

Enthusiasm is one of the major keys to success. You enjoy what you’re doing. You’re eager to get to work. You radiate a contagious energy that inspires others to share in your vision. And you never give up.

How do you become more enthusiastic?

Easy, you choose it.

I know, its sounds way too simple. But if there’s one thing about all of this personal development stuff, it’s that we have a tendency to look for complexity. We need the answers to be uber-complicated, written on a clay tablet discovered in some ancient cave.

But it really can be as simple as making a choice.

You can choose to have a great day; to be kind, to love what you do; to be grateful; to be SUPER FANTASTIC instead of just fine.

On today’s Throwback Thursday episode, we turn back the clock to episode #037 and our featured speaker, Keith Harrell, who shares the power of choosing to have a “Yes, I Can” attitude. It’s one of my all-time favorites. Enjoy!
