There’s this thing about friends and family.

They don’t want to see you get hurt.

Totally understandable.

But sometimes this can show up in ways that tend to discourage our loved ones from pursuing their dreams, from growing, even when that’s not what we intended.

If there’s anything you can be certain of, it’s that a loved one — a mom, a dad, a sibling, a really good friend — will poop all over your dreams when given the chance.

Which is why I encourage my students to keep their goals to themselves. To remain silent. To protect their dreams from the infectious dream-killing germs that others may be carrying. That sh*t’s contagious.

Instead of sharing your dreams, show them.

Everyone doesn’t have to know right now; they’ll see it when you’re done.

In the meantime, protect your dreams.

Today on the podcast, Andy Henriquez shows you how to keep the people you love from talking you out of your dreams.

By the way, the QOD Show reached 15,000,000 listens yesterday. What a milestone! Thank YOU for tuning in!
