Little by little…

That’s how you’ll get there.

Yes, making a quantum leap is possible. However, the greater part of your progress will be made one step at a time.

The weight on the scale will come down one meal, one walk, one workout at a time.

The only way your book ever gets written is one paragraph at a time.

Your relationship will get better one meaningful conversation at a time.

The compound effect is real. The little things done consistently add up, until they’re not so little anymore.

That’s when you look back and say, damn, look how far I’ve come.

By simply showing up, day after day, action upon action, little step by little step.

You know, I’ve been sharing my personal philosophy — “little by little, a little becomes a lot” — with you for years.

But I don’t think I’ve ever told you where it all began.
