Big fight tonight.

If you haven’t been living under a rock for the past 3 months, you’ve probably heard about the Mayweather-McGregor matchup going down in a matter of hours.

Something you may not know about me is that I’ve been a HUGE boxing fan since I was maybe 5 years old, when I watched my first Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini fight with Grandpa Joe.

Hooked.

Over the past few decades I’ve seen it all. The jaw-dropping knockouts. The thrilling “phone booth” fights. The what-fight-were-these-judges-watching decisions. Even a little ear biting. 🙂

But one thing I haven’t seen before is a boxer going toe-to-toe with an MMA fighter.

Honestly, I’m not an MMA guy. I don’t think I’ve ever watched a full Conor McGregor fight in my life. Just the highlights on YouTube.

Having never really set foot in a boxing ring, not one boxing expert thinks Conor has even the most remote shot at defeating one of the greatest of all time. A few say he won’t land a single punch.

Understandable, I guess. I mean, Floyd Mayweather is undefeated in 49 fights, disposing of some of the most legendary fighters on his way to the top.

Personally, the boxing aficionado in me agrees with the experts. Floyd wins. Easy work.

But there’s a part of me — the student of mind part of me — that isn’t counting Conor out.

Why not? Because I know how he THINKS.

Just four years ago, Conor McGregor was a little-known fighter from Dublin, Ireland getting by on a $235 welfare check. Tonight he’ll pick up a check for $30 million.

That doesn’t happen by accident.

What most people don’t know is, when Conor was 15 years old he stumbled upon The Law of Attraction and became obsessed with it. He became aware of the power of his mind and began using it to create the life he wanted.

All of the stuff we learn about on The Quote of The Day Show, he practices every day — using his imagination, holding the image, visualizing success, having faith, acting as if, being grateful, having the right friends, taking full responsibility. All of it.

This stuff works.

On today’s Motivation Mix episode, we take a deep dive into the mind of Conor McGregor. If you enjoyed the Will Smith mix, you’ll dig this one.

I’m not a gambling man. But after learning more about the man and his mind, I put a few bucks on Conor.

Talent will take you far. But when you do your part, when you truly BELIEVE and are willing to PAY THE PRICE for the dream, the universe is on your side. Call me crazy, but I like those odds.

Sorry, Floyd. Sorry, boxing. Sorry, Grandpa Joe.

I’m rolling with The Law tonight.

Enjoy the fight.
