There’s a criminal in our midst.

It’s a sadistic one that robs us of our most prized possessions — our joy, self-worth, and gratitude.

The only way to protect ourselves from this thief is to lock it out and stay on guard; to protect the doorway to our minds with all of our might.

Because as soon as it breaks in, it has a way of taking over our lives. We become depressed. Full of envy. Resentful toward people we don’t even know.

This villain is the reason why I refuse to listen to podcasts. It’s why I don’t follow celebrities on social media. It’s why I keep a double deadbolt on the doorway to my mind.

If not, I’ll fall into its trap. Looted of my most precious gifts. Yet another victim of its widespread crimes.

Today on the podcast, Rachel Hollis reveals the identity of this common thief. Keep your eyes peeled for it. It’s always lurking. Tap the play button for a full report.

Rachel’s book, Girl, Stop Apologizing: A Shame-Free Plan for Embracing and Achieving Your Goals, is available at QODBooks.com. You can find today’s full talk here.
