Here’s what critics do …

Nothing.

Yup, that’s pretty much it. Aside from finding faults, flaws, and reasons to disparage the doers, critics don’t do sh*t.

The sad part is that many of those who summon up the courage to be doers eventually stop doing, all because of what the non-doers think and say about them.

I mean, it’s kinda bananas to consider how much power we give to people who are apparently too scared to do anything with their lives.

Is this who you’re putting in charge of your life?

If a fear of criticism is keeping you from making your move, remember this quote from the late Nipsey Hussle:

“You will never be criticized by someone who is doing more than you. You will always be criticized by someone who is doing less than you. Remember that.”

In other words, consider the source. And know that others are not your source. Looking to others for consent to be who you are and to do what you want is to look in the wrong place. The only permission you need is yours.
