I had a friend over last night.

We had quite the entertaining conversation about people who seem to never stop talking.

You know, the type that can go for 90 minutes straight while you sit there and say uh-huh … uh-huh … riiiiight … oh wow … uh-huh.

Hey, talkers gonna talk.

It’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s just that sometimes there isn’t enough space for the listener to consciously process all of those words.

But what if I told you that there is a part of you that never stops listening?

It hears and processes every single word you speak and thought you think. And with each repetition of word and thought, it etches a corresponding pattern in your brain, deeper and deeper, until you literally become your words and thoughts.

Your subconscious mind never needs a break to catch up with the non-stop monologue going on in your head. It never spaces out or misunderstands.

It’s the perfect, nonjudgemental listener you’ve always wanted in your life.

And best (or worst) of all, it does exactly what you tell it to do, without asking any questions. Whatever blueprint you give it, it has no choice but to construct.

The question is, which words and thoughts have you been repeating to yourself?

And are they the bricks with which you want to build your life?

Today on the podcast, Marisa Peer is back to give you her best tips on how to give your subconscious mind a new blueprint to work with by becoming more aware of your patterns of language and thought.
