There’s this thing about getting what you want.

You have to be ready for it.

Like the great Napoleon Hill once wrote …

“There is a difference between WISHING for a thing and being READY to receive it. No one is ready for a thing, until he believes he can acquire it. The state of mind must be BELIEF, not mere hope or wish.”

At the center of all accomplishment is a belief in oneself — in the ability to learn what needs to be learned and handle what needs to be handled.

When belief is lacking, we quit at the first obstacles. We convince ourselves that it wasn’t meant to be, that it’s too overwhelming, that we’ll try again when (fill in the blank).

Goals don’t go unaccomplished because of our reasons for why we can’t, but due to an absence of the belief that we can.

On today’s episode of the podcast, the legendary Bob Proctor shares a powerful story of what can happen when we transcend mere hoping and wishing and become fully ready to receive.
