What gets rewarded gets repeated.

If we fail to communicate that it’s NOT okay when our friends consistently show up 30 minutes late for Happy Hour, we’d might as well accept our role as designated seat-saver.

Been there.

If we sacrifice our precious lunch hours to let our miserable co-workers vent their drama, we’d better believe they’ll be back tomorrow.

As Tony Robbins says, we get what we tolerate.

When we tolerate people who drain our energy and waste our time, we sign their permission slips to do it again and again.

We’ve essentially trained them how to treat us.
