His life was headed in the wrong direction.

He dealt drugs, ran with the wrong crowd, committed violent crimes.

Culminating in a 100-year prison sentence at the age of 18.

While locked up in solitary confinement for two years, Andre Norman made a decision. To him, it didn’t matter that he was spending his days and nights behind bars. It didn’t matter that no one believed him. Somehow, someway, he would go to Harvard University.

And that’s exactly what he did.
