People are contagious.

You know how it is…

When you’re around a miserable, grumpy, crotchety person, you can’t help but feel a little miserable, grumpy, and crotchety yourself.

The question is, what kinds of moods and feelings are people catching from you? What are you spreading around? Joy or misery? Good spirits or grumpiness?

Of course we’re all entitled to our bad days and occasional mood swings, but the overwhelming majority of the time we can decide that TODAY is going to be a good day.

It’s funny, every morning my wake-up alarm is a Smashing Pumpkins song called Today. It starts like this…

Today is the greatest
Day I’ve ever known

Hearing those words first thing every morning makes a difference. But it’s up to me (and you) to choose to make today great.

So, how are you choosing to live your day today?

Don’t miss today’s QOD with the late Ed Foreman, who shares an enthusiastic story about choosing how your day’s going to be.
