You totally failed.

I mean, haven’t we all?

I don’t know what you failed at. But I know there’s something (maybe many things) that didn’t turn out the way you wanted.

The question is …

WHY DID YOU FAIL?

Was it someone else’s fault? Did you run out of money? Did your team let you down? Did you not know the right people? Were your prospects not willing to pay you a fair price?

Yadda, yadda, yadda.

It’s all a bunch of excuses.

For each of these excuses, you could have done something.

You could have been a better leader to your team.

You could have raised the money.

You could have dropped your “I’m an introvert” label and built relationships with the right people.

You could have improved your sales process.

You could have been more courageous, disciplined, and committed.

You failed because you acted like a setback was the end of the world instead of an opportunity to show how resourceful you could be.

Period.

If you’re afraid of failure, or you tend to give up too soon, I highly recommend you listen to today’s episode with Tony Robbins.

It changed Al Gore’s life. It can change yours, too. 🙂
