There’s this phrase I hear in the self-help space.

It kinda makes me cringe when I hear it.

Not because it’s altogether “bad” advice, but because it’s so easy to misunderstand and misinterpret.

These 3 words can really knock you off your path if you let them:

“Ease and flow.”

Yuck. Not a fan.

It’s kinda like when millions of people watched The Secret and actually believed that if they just sat around and thought about what they wanted, it would just appear on their front porch one day.

Nah, that’s not how these things work.

The concept of “ease and flow” can lead many to believe that accomplishing their dreams is going to be easy; that there won’t be any obstacles, setbacks, or times when they want to quit; that the entire path to their goals is just gonna reveal itself to them without taking any first steps.

The funny thing is, the very people who are teaching this “ease and flow” thing are working their asses off and navigating daily obstacles in their businesses. I know that for a fact.

On today’s QOD episode, Les Brown gives you the truth about this.

It’s gonna be hard. It’s hard living your dream. It’s hard changing your life. You can’t stroll to your goal. No way. Not happening.

In my opinion, if you have “ease and flow” dreams, you’re simply not dreaming big enough. You’re thinking small. When the first obstacle appears along your path, you’ll make a U-turn and go right back to where you started. Because you expected it to be easy.

In my intro to today’s QOD clip, I share my thoughts on what “ease and flow” really means. I think you’ll want to hear this.
