Today’s QOD is a quickie.
The late Jim Rohn offers up some simple yet practical parenting advice for raising happier children.
There are several quotes I could have featured from this one …
“If the parents are okay, the kids are okay.”
“Your own self development is the best contribution you can give to your children.”
But this one was my favorite:
“I’ll take care of me for you, if you’ll take care of you for me.”
Today’s clip comes from Jim’s audio program The Day That Turns Your Life around, available for instant mp3 download on Audible.

Yes! I use the airplane analogy ALL the time – particularly with Mom’s who put everyone’s needs before their oen! They seem to have the hardest time with this because it makes them feel ‘selfish’ ! UGH!
Thanks for commenting, Marie-France. I wish more Moms and Dads would take care of themselves this way. Self-care is an act of selflessness. Everyone wins when we do it!
