Have you ever been infatuated with someone?

It was as if they could do no wrong. They made your heart go pitter-patter. You just knew they were … The One.

But then things startled to unravel. This perfect person “disappointed” you. You began to see that they weren’t so perfect after all. They were human. And it really bummed you out.

For some reason, you imagined that there would be all positives and no negatives. All support and no challenges. The reality of who they really were didn’t match the fantasy of who you wanted them to be.

Oops…

This kind of imbalanced thinking has been the death of many relationships. I know I’m guilty of it. Been there. More times than I’d care to admit, in fact.

This one is AWESOME.
