We all have dreams.

But the truth is, in the grand scheme of things, very few of us will ever realize them. Ever.

I know, that’s a pretty discouraging statement for a typically upbeat blog.

I’m not in the business of lying to you, though. I assume you want the truth.

Why do the overwhelming majority of us never achieve our goals?

Because we ask the wrong question.

When desire manifests itself and tickles our souls, we flinch and pull away. Instead of embracing our infinitely creative natures, we throw ourselves into the pool of impossibility.

We handcuff ourselves to the status quo by asking ourselves …

HOW?

That’s the question that kills dreams.

But you don’t need to know the how. In fact, not knowing how is actually the fun part. When you commit to the what, the how has a way of revealing itself.

For example …

When I decided to leave the holistic health space in order to help a million people find their greatness, I had NO IDEA I’d host a daily podcast. Not a clue. It just kinda happened that way.

It unfolded.

That’s how it works. But only if you trust it. When you do your part, when you decide and commit, the universe has a way of charting out a course toward the things you want.

Today on the podcast, Iyanla Vanzant continues our mini-series on vision and visualization, as she encourages you to get the vision and keep your mind OFF the how.
