As simple as it sounds, taking action on this often-heard career advice can be paralyzing.

It can make us feel pressured to find that thing.

And once we find the thing, we have to figure out how to turn it into an income-producing jobby job that pays the bills and then some.

But what if we just let go of the idea of doing what we love and pivoted the conversation to doing what we are?

This subtle shift can be a game changer in discovering a career that feels authentic and congruent with the unique individual you can’t help being.

Chances are, you’re already doing it. You’re just not being paid for it. Yet.

1. What am I good at?

2. What do people tell me I’m good at?

3. What’s holding me back?

Happy New Year!
