Be the turtle.

Yeah, it might be a little more fun to be the hare. To feel the rush of adrenaline pumping through your veins. To hightail your way to the finish line.

That was never my thing, though. I’m seldom in a hurry to get it done. I just know that it will get done. Maybe later than sooner. But it will get done.

It took me 6 years to graduate from college. I didn’t start making real money until my mid-thirties. And I’ve never felt like there was a deadline for finding a wife and having kids.

Most of my product launch dates get pushed back. (Hence the delay with Money Mind Academy and the 2-year wait for the JERF Bar.) But in the end, everything gets done.

But here’s the thing. What gets done is already done. Before anyone else can physically experience the thing, I can see it, feel it, and live it in my mind. With no regard for HOW or WHEN the thing will get done.

Joseph Murphy once wrote, “The sincere student never asks how.”

Dr. Wayne Dyer once said, “The answer to how is YES.”

And the Law of Gestation decrees that your goals will manifest when the time is right. Know they will.

Say yes. Never ask how. Take action. Know it will manifest.

When we do that, success becomes an inevitability. And when the mind is teeming with faith, patience, and vision, there’s no room for failure to live.

Failure is no longer an option.

The hare may snicker at your turtle-like crawl. But it’s more like a slow-moving swagger.

Believe me, I’ve been in this game since 2007. I’ve seen my fair share of hares tuckered out on the sidelines. Burned out. Defeated, both physically and mentally.

Because in this game of life, power beats force every time.

Power is faith. It’s patience. It’s living in the end as we swagger down the road and take things as they come. It’s being willing to be totally shocked and surprised by how it happens. And it’s knowing that faith and failure cannot co-exist. It’s one or the other. Choose.

Today on The Quote of The Day Show, motivational speaker Dr. Eric Thomas, a man who needed 12 years to get a 4-year degree, teaches you one of the most important things you MUST do to never be a failure.
